Guiding Grace SC is the result of a lifetime spent in service to others. From our earliest days, our family was shaped by the nurturing environment of the church — a place where we learned that caring for people is not just a responsibility, but a privilege and a calling. That foundation of compassion has guided our work for decades, allowing us to support youth, seniors, disabled adults, and families across multiple states and communities with consistency, heart, and unwavering dedication.
As our mother has grown older — and as we’ve watched many in our community age alongside her — the need for steady, compassionate support has become even more urgent. Too many seniors and disabled adults face daily challenges with transportation, food access, and navigating complex benefit systems, often with little or no help. This reality inspired us to focus our efforts right here at home, where our roots, our memories, and our purpose live.
Guiding Grace SC represents our intentional commitment to Greenville County. We operate remotely and through community‑based events to maximize our footprint, reduce barriers, and meet people exactly where they are. We are actively working with churches across Greenville County to establish satellite service sites — neighborhood‑based hubs that will allow us to deliver food access, advocacy, and support directly within the communities that need it most.
But Guiding Grace SC is more than programs and partnerships — it is healing turned into service. It is the belief that even in pain, purpose can rise. It is the understanding that love and light are two of the most powerful forces in the universe, and when we choose to stand in them, we help others rediscover their own strength.
Our mission is simple and steadfast: to provide practical support and heartfelt advocacy while honoring the dignity, independence, and lived experiences of every person we serve. Guiding Grace SC is here to be a consistent, reliable presence for our neighbors as they navigate life’s challenges — and to ensure no one in our community has to walk their journey alone.
This is grace in action. This is community in motion. This is love made visible.
